Globals Cert develop surveillance activities so that the representativeness of the areas and functions covered by the scope of the management system is regularly monitored, and takes into account changes in the certified customers and their management systems.

Surveillance activities include site audits by auditing compliance with the specific requirements of the certified customer’s management system, with regard to the standard for which certification was awarded.

Surveillance activities, including:

  • Questions from Globals Cert to certified customers regarding certification aspects,
  • Reviewing each customer’s statement regarding its operations (for example, promotional material, website),
  • Requests to customers to provide documents and records (on paper or electronic media), and
  • Another way to monitor the performance of certified customers.

Globals Cert carry out a surveillance audit once a year to each certified customer.
