Globals Cert establishes documented policies and procedures for suspension and specifies the essential actions to be taken.

Freezing of certification can occur in the following cases:

  • The certified organization’s Management System totally fails to meet the requirements of the certification, including those of the management system
  • The certified organization does not allow surveillance or recertification audits to be carried out at the required frequency, or
  • Certified organizations request suspension voluntarily
  • Discrepancies in audit results are not followed up on non-compliance sheets (cause analysis, corrections, corrective actions and evidence of corrective actions) according to the set time limit and the given time extension (1 month)

The certification manager will review the client’s certification status and the results will be submitted to the Operations Manager to decide on the certification status.

The certification manager will issue a suspension letter informing the client of the reasons for the suspension.

If the cause of the freeze has been followed up and resolved by the client, then Globals Cert will REACTIVATE the certification status of the frozen client
