Globals Cert will carry out a review of the application and additional information for certification prior to conducting an audit, in order to ensure that:
- Information regarding the requesting organization and its management system is sufficient for the audit;
- Requirements for certification have been clearly defined and documented and made available to the applicant organization;
- Any discrepancies in understanding between Globals Cert and the applicant organization have been resolved;
- Globals Cert has the competence and ability to carry out certification activities;
- The scope of certification, the location of operation of the applicant organization, the time required for a complete audit and any other activities affecting the certification activity have been taken into account (language, security conditions, threats to impartiality, etc.);
- Records of the justification for the decision to conduct the audit are maintained.
